I have been successfully inspecting homes in Colorado since 1992, and I am a former licensed general contractor with many years of experience in building and construction management. I am familiar with building codes and issues unique to Colorado homes.
I'm a member of ASHI which ensures that each inspection is done in accordance with the strict standards and code of ethics of ASHI. Doug is experienced, trained, and educationally certified by ITA (Inspection Training Associates), considered by many as the best inspection training school in the country. Latest equipment and the most effective techniques are used to test the various aspects of the home. Because of the need for accurate radon measurement I am qualified by the NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program) as a NEHA (National Environmental Health Association) radon measurement professional.
I use the "teaching" approach to home inspection so that each client has a full understanding of how their new home "works."

Our Services
Walters Home inspection Services is a full service inspection company offering existing home inspections as well as inspections on new homes. We provide one year warranty inspections for those living in new homes to assure that the builder will fix any problems that exist before your warranty expires.
We offer inspections on single family homes, townhomes, condos and multifamily dwellings such as duplexes, triplexes etc.
As an additional service to our clients we provide Radon testing.
Mold, lead based paint and asbestos testing, is available upon request.
